Mount Barker is located approximately 350 kms (4 hour drive) south of Perth and is the central hub of the Great Southern region. Yes, it's that time of the year again. The orchids are out in profusion with so many varieties showing off their beauty. We have a reserve in the Mt Barker townsite which has the wildflowers marked. So come along to view and photograph these beautiful wildflowers.
Twilight Markets - Friday, 15th November
A good variety of stalls including plants, jewellery, bric-a-brac, books, antiques, collectables, etc. Great fun to be had at these markets. Starting at 4.30pm to 9.00pm, Langton Road.
Mt Barker Community Fair - Saturday, 30th November - Memorial Ave, Mt Barker
Yes, this wonderful Fair is on again in 2013. Check back for further information as it becomes available, but don't forget to book this date so you can enjoy the Fair.
Community Markets - Saturday, 7th December
A good variety of stalls including plants, jewellery, bric-a-brac, books, antiques, collectables, etc. This market has grown to be very popular and good bargains can be found. Behind the Anglican Church on Albany Hwy, Mount Barker WA, from 8.00am to 12.00 noon.
