Frankland is a small town located approximately 40kms west off the Albany Highway. The shire consists of fertile soils producing quality sheep, wool, grain, and the new industries of award winning olive oil and wines. The area boasts a wide range of wildflowers, which are best viewed from August through to November.
ATTRACTIONS
The area has a lovely Heritage Trail which takes you on a tour of historical sites and places of interest in the area.
A lovely public BBQ area has been established on the main street. There is a lovely playground for the kids and a gazebo to protect you from the weather. Public toilets are available at the Shire Hall next door to the BBQ area.
A number of olive groves have been established in the area and are well worth a visit.

WILDFLOWERS
A number of reserves are located in and around the town of Frankland. These are well worth exploring during Spring as there is an abundance of orchids, wattles, pea flowers, Leschenaultia, and Darwinia, to name but a few.
